Veterinary Endoscopy
An endoscopy is a minimally-invasive procedure that helps our veterinarians visualize your pet’s organs and internal systems, without the need to perform surgery. Endoscopy is performed with a tool called an endoscope, a tube with a camera and light on the tip that can be guided throughout the body. The endoscope can be inserted into a small incision or naturally-existing orifice. Most pets do not typically experience pain or discomfort after the procedure, and your pet will spend a minimal amount of time under anesthesia.
We currently offer veterinary endoscopic procedures at our specialty center, Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care. For questions or to request more information about our endoscopy services, please call us at 516-624-7387.
