Team Members
Mina, Veterinary Assistant
Mina has been working with animals of all shapes and sizes since she was 15. Growing up with a strong love for animals, she knew this was the job for her. Looking to further her future in the Veterinary Medicine field she is currently in school with the hopes of one day becoming a Veterinary Technician. When she’s not working, she loves music, hiking, and all things Tattoo related. Mina shares her home with her partner, and three animals of her own. Two dogs: Nala and Delilah, and a Cat named Lizzo.
Kiran, Veterinary Assistant
Kiran had joined the Oyster Bay Animal Hospital practice back in 2021. Prior to working at the facility she worked at the zoo for quite some time where she gained most of her exotic/wildlife animal experience. She has a love for all kinds of animals small or big, slimy or furry, she’s ready to tackle any furbaby that’s come her way with lots of treats and cuddles. She is currently in her last year of college finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree in Science and just finished applying to veterinary schools in hopes of starting vet school in the Fall 2023. When she is not working or in school she loves to brush up on old piano skills and cook/bake new recipes. She lives with her furry husky, Rambo and pet fishes, Blueberry and Angel.
Chris, Veterinary Assistant
Chris joined Oyster Bay Animal Hospital’s team as a veterinary assistant after shadowing Dr. Lancer and aspires to become a veterinarian one day. He is currently an undergraduate Biology major at Stony Brook University, counting down the days to apply to veterinary school. Chris loves animals and has a rabbit named Bambi. During his free time, Chris enjoys watching movies and playing video games.
Neha, Veterinary Assistant
Neha joined Oyster Bay Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant in 2022. She is currently in her final year at Farmingdale State College, completing her bachelors of science while working her way towards applying to veterinary school. During her leisure time, Neha enjoys spending time with her dog Sienna, working on arts and crafts projects, traveling, going to the gym and getting tattooed!
Jason, Veterinary Assistant
Jason is a veterinary assistant at Oyster Bay Animal Hospital. He has previously worked with exotic animals in an emergency center. Jason initially gained experience in the field at Long Island Academy while studying Animal Science. He has a cat and two gerbils at home.
